After their proposal went viral, Spencer & Dustin were invited to be married by Queen Latifah at the Grammys in front of millions of viewers. It was a pleasure to be asked to cover their ring ceremony and reception in Salt Lake City.
I captured some footage of this interaction between a woman and a bird while I was at an event. The woman is a fashion blogger and I thought it would be fun to put this together for her.
Equality Utah commissioned this short dramatization that would help humanize the issue of legal discrimination in Utah. Real experiences helped guide the script and the actors brought the rest. It was a great project to work on.
This proposal has received international attention and over 12 million views on youtube. Dustin and Spencer have been on dozens of talk shows and interviews and featured on news stations around the world. It also became a catalyst for Betty Who’s music career. I was honored to be a part of it.
Inspired by the outdoor summer dinners I had enjoyed, I set out to create an experimental recipe video that would entice viewers to want to try their own hand at a “summer salad.” Who knew a salad could be so beautiful?
